Aqua, Black and White Wedding Ceremony and Reception
One of my favorite combinations is black and aqua or black and white with aqua. Since there’s not really a natural fresh flower that is aqua I tend to really try to steer clear unless its requested by the bride in the bouquet.. but in the decor I try and keep it simple.. using aqua in the fabrics.. linens.. lighting..
In this Ceremony we used a satin chuppah and luxurious satins (Tip to new wedding decorator.. if you use satins make sure you roll it back up on the roll after you are done.. do not fold it .. its almost impossible to get all the wrinkles out) 80,000 cream and white silk petals and small vases with colored water down the sides
This was a painted hydrangeas and rose fresh flower bouquet. Accented with stephanotis and little flower diamonds in the centers
The reception was held at The Hilton Garden Hotel in Smyrna TN.. in can get quite crowded in there cause its pretty small.. so we just did panels of drape with uplighting.. using 3 small spotlights pointed in different directions
I love putting these padded benches around the dance floor. They hold around 10-12 people and it seems you’ve got people around the dance floor the whole night.
I just covered the padded top bench with a 90X132 linen and the bottom is actually drape fabric that I laid on the bottom.. we had under lighting under the benches with string lights and under the side cocktail table
The hotel provided a white full length linen so instead of getting another full length linen we got the aqua iridescent crush overlay, black spandex chair covers to fit these oversized hotel chairs and the same iridescent crush chair ties
The centerpieces were very clean and elegant. fresh white hydrangeas and white roses with a 12 piece candlelight setup around it
The room looked great in the simple yet stunning aqua, black and white wedding color theme
