Cedars of Lebanon – Small Intimate Wedding Setup

Cedars of Lebanon (Lebanon TN State Park) – Small Intimate Wedding Setup

The Ceremony

This was probably one of my favorite weddings.. they had right at a $10,000 budget for 12 people.. so I really got to do some awesome decorations and had incredible 6 course steak/lobster meal brought in.. fresh orchids.. etc.. it was my favorite still!

Heres a tip about locations.. this location was actually at a state park here in TN the location cost less than $150 and it was perfect for the small intimate setting..

The ceremony we had cascading above the fireplace orchids, roses, and lilies with green smilax greenery.. thousands of silk petals down the aisle runner and gold chiavari chairs with fresh green and white hydrangeas on the back of each chair.. this wedding was at the beginning of March and I think it might have even snowed that day.. so the freezing cold outside was warm on the inside with the crackling warm fireplace… soooo romantic!

This was the before picture of the right hand side of the building (ceremony was the left hand side)

This was the after… it was truly breathtaking.. We covered the entire ceiling in fabric (We used a lightweight tobacco cloth).. had string lights behind it then for added texture we softly blured several gobo lights with gold gels.

Another romantic fireplace.. on this side we used gold iridescent crush linens on 6 8 foot tables to create 1 huge table.. this gave plenty of room to use the center tables for the centerpiece setup and plenty of room to eat. Since we had gold linens we wanted to use a contracting color chair.. so we got the fruitwood chiavari chairs and did a cool tie for the chair tie that matched the linens. All the plate settings were gold rimmed.

The centerpiece was one of my favorites again.. something simple.. this actually didnt have a lot of color.. she wanted muted candle feel.. so we used the gold linens and white flowers and they stood out.  These were all fresh flowers with fresh Eskimo roses in the rose balls (about 100+ roses in each) on the top of the wrought iron metal trees with hand strung white orchids.. and lots and lots of romantic candlelight!

This couple was so happy the next year the bride called me to come decorate their house with hallways full of petals and flower arrangements and candles.. for their 1 year anniversary.. she got him to take her to dinner.. and while they were gone we did a romantic makeover of the house.. she said he was floored.. and that night was a super romantic night also!  I will never forget this couple!
