Church Wedding and Country Club – Murfreesboro TN – white orchids and callas

Beautiful and Simple Cream / Black and White Wedding Decorations

The Ceremony

Ceremony was at Fresh Vision Church in Smryna TN

I loved loved loved the Ceremony on this wedding.  We used a chuppah which is actually a Jewish setup, but more of our brides liked them for the decor design. We used a large backdrop (12 foot tall) to hide all the church instruments. The chuppah in front had 150 yards of soft ivory satin with the white sateen and I took all our loose latex white orchids and sewed them together to create these long trailing orchid strands to accent the chuppah with silk hydrangea arrangement on the corners and little spotlights to accent everything (do not use LED spotlights are it wont have the same soft candlelight feel.  The aisle had a free standing drape (we created a larger aisle by moving some of the pew chairs) with the free standing aisle drape and the lighting you have to use all the petals to cover up all the wiring.. we used 20,000 petals mix of white and ivory here.. this setup was stunning.. the cost is around $10,000 for fresh flowers and with doing it with the latex flowers we can do it for around $6,000 and still get you the same look and no one knows it!

The Reception

At the time of this wedding they had not so awesome orange curtains that did not go with our black and ivory theme AT ALL.. so we decided to drape all the windows with black and then accent it with ivory satin curtain drape. It would have looked like Halloween if we had not!

We used black poly linens with ivory satin crossties. Black Spandex Chair covers with ivory ties Giant Silver Vases with latex giant calla lilies at the base we had silver mint julep cups with hydrangeas and lots of candlelight.. the room was completely transformed.. In the light fixtures.. we created hanging flower arrangements

On the head table all the same theme going on except we used ivory spandex chair covers…. love the sleekness… AND NO WRINKLES.. on the chair covers. The back of each chair had 3 latex mini callas accenting it.. about 300 votives on the front of the table with petals and accent arrangements

I do not bake any of the cakes.. but our job was to make that cake table look fabulous and to put the flowers on the cake.. Instead of trying to match our fabric to a linen we just used about 10 yards of satin fabric and kept criss crossing and poofing to create the skirt.. then used a black linen on top of that (you dont want the cake to ruin the fabric.. better for it to fall on a washable linen) Accented the edge of the table with the silk hydrangeas and hanging orchids.. then around the cake itself we had about 150 fresh white eskimo roses and 100 fresh stephanotis with diamond centers… the diamond centers which you cant hardly see in the picture, twinkled the entire time.. very beautiful!

It  was a classy and modern wedding! You can click here to go to the links to learn step by step in our training videos how to do exactly what you see in the pictures!
