The Ceremony was held at The Journey Church in Franklin TN located at The Factory
We covered the stage and hung from the ceiling a huge flower chandelier that we created from a simple hanging flower basket.. I took hundreds of latex orchids and bent the ends and hung them from the bottom of the basket.. weaved in twinkle lights and wha la a huge flower chandelier! the drape actually was attached to the chain in the middle and then the corners were attached to extendable uprights
Using vasees with realistic loooking orchids in the water and then shining spotlights up on each with lots of petals to cover up the wiring.. this created a beautiful “candlelit” aisle without there actually being any candles.
The brides bouquet we used a mix of fresh green hydrangeas, fresh mini whit e callas and then the color was so hard to match for the orchids that we used latex orchids to match her colors and they looked totally fresh also!
The bridesmaids originally had 1 large fresh calla, but after handling it during the photo shoots.. the callas starting getting brown veins.. and because I knew this might happen I brought my mini latex bridesmaids bouquets just in case.. and sure enough we got to save the day with them yet again.. because I knew what might happen..
The Reception was held in Jamison Hall. This bride didn’t want ceiling drape but just giant curtains on the sides and uplighting
We simply took our standard 8 foot uprights (not the exstendables) and ran a heavy duty wire through it.. balanced it and connected to the metal poles at the top.. then hung 50 foot pieces of fabric and created 25 foot tall side draperies.. tying it off loosely with the same color ribbon as her colors and a few silk green hydrangeas… And even though it was simple.. in the space it really was the wow factor
For the vases we used glass trumpet vases with bupleurum and a few silk green hydrangeas and bring the color down into our mint julep cups with are the plastic mint juleps but look exactly like the real ones. and you dont even know they are plastic until you touch them! (secret tip) 🙂
The chair backs.. I loved.. this will normally cost the bride about another $5 per chair to put a hydrangea on the back of the chair but I love it and it brings in the colors and flowers together so nice.
This cake was the white buttercream and chocolate design on the outside and the only fondant was the ribbon.. it was a perfectly designed cake!
Jeremy Binns did the wedding day photography .. These are a few pictures from their art photo album
