This was another of my favorite weddings.. the softness and the deep colors of the flowers.. Just beautiful all the way around.
With this aisle we wanted to drape it but needed something a little different because the way the pews were made, So we did what we call disconnected draping. (Video Coming Soon) Cream satin Drapes and Silk White Hydrangeas and a little spotlight shining on each one.. and then the finishing touch 80,000 silk petals! On the altar we used the extendable uprights and created a column of fabric and arrangement that went up 12 foot tall then 10 foot tall. The altar area was small so this didnt take up a lot of room but still had the drama.. we added a couple gold uplights and the Ceremony look was complete!
The fresh hand tied bouquets we did had black magic roses, mango callas, green hydrangeas and green cymbidium orchids and bright green kermit mums.
The Reception was held at The Journey Church Located inside The Factory in Franklin, TN
The linens were full length champagne iridescent linens with ivory spandex chair covers and champagne ties
Centerpieces was a combination of fresh flowers in a tall oval shaped glass cylinder with a light base surrounded by mint julep cups and candles
(All our product wholesalers are on our wholesale list for purchase and some companies will even rent and send them to you! )
There was actually several areas we needed to cover so we had backdrops that had draped curtains in gossamer fabric and lighting (We now have a complete backdrop kit that you can buy to replicate the same look!)
One of my favorite things that we did in the DIY catering was the carrot shoots and the shrimp shooters with the little single orchids on each serving. But how we displayed it, is what brought the people over.. we used plexiglass shelves and glass blocks and white wire twinkle lights.. and created 3-4 tiers that displayed the finger foods.. It was kinda funny when we served just plain carrots and ranch dip we always had left over.. but put them in these little plastic shooters and they were all gone! Presentation is everything!
We designed the cake based on the brides love for pearls and this giant fondant flower she had brought in a picture of for the cake idea
The grooms cake was all out of cake and rice crispies- a golf bag!
French Confection in Nashville TN created both cakes and they were stunning and tasted delicious!
When you have concrete floors and no actual dance floor but you want to say.. this is the dance floor area, gobo lights is a great way to do that!
For this design we used the same gobo design but used a gold gel on one and a white gel on the other.. and then you get depths of color instead of just one color.. and the look was very soft and romantic
Candy Bar/ Favors
And the couples photography was done by my husband Jeremy Binns
