Tiffany Blue – Black and White Wedding at the Hilton Hotel – Nashville TN
This is a modern black and white wedding accented with tiffany blue that is in my top 20 favorite weddings that we’ve done. This wedding was on a veranda at the Hilton Hotel in Nashville, TN
On one side was the symphony hall
And the Nashville skyline was all around!
The black spandex chair covers with the white bands were so modern. The aisle was lined with the giant glass vases with aqua blue dyed water (tip: the sun will bleach the color right out.. so we ended up adding a lot of drops right before guests came into the area)
We did the brides bouquet with green hydrangeas, white mini callas and white stephanotis with jewels
The bridesmaids had simple white latex mini callas (these will cost you around $12 to make)
The reception carried the black and white theme with the dance floor and the giant coffee tables we did. which were actually 2 kid tables put together and we had a spandex linen made that went over the whole entire thing.. then on the benches we draped underneath the bench pad
I loved these HUGE globe vases. We put fresh large callas in them (we have a video on tips how to do this) and then put a light under it – it was simple and dramatic!
The table linens were black with tiffany blue satin crossties and chair ties with the large calla latex arrangement (training video here)
Tip on lighting: This was actually the first time we had done this room at the Hilton Hotel and when I asked how many circuits there was for uplighting I was told over 14.. so I thought no problem. I had my normal par uplights and they pull a lot of juice.. only 2 lights per circuit.. I got there plugged up 4 lights and the room went dark.. turned out the person that told me over 14 was talking about plug in’s not circuits. So the bride ended up having to pay on the spot another $350 to the hotel for a power amp to come and power the lighting and the dj.. that was a learning moment for me.. to talk to the hotels electrician instead of just the worker.. also that lead me to purchase LED lightings instead of doing the traditional pars
Hopefully this has given you some ideas on how to use Tiffany Blue in your wedding..
