The Mystery Dinner Theater Makeover
This was a small wedding and we were looking for a small location that was still unique and downtown Nashville AND that we could bring in our own catering. I finally came across a mystery dinner theater that was not currently being used for weddings but after I showed them the plan and approached renting it out idea.. we finally got them to rent it out the transformation was beautiful!
What I fell in love with was the rock walls.. this was actually the basement of a larger building built way back! And it had that old world feel to it.
This was the before of the Ceremony. this is what you saw when you came in (the lobby)
After doing a half circle of chairs and aisle this was the result
This was what I really was excited to do!
We installed cabeling on the side of the rock wall because i needed something to attach the string lights and ceiling drape to.. but the other wall (right side) we had our pipe and drape system
On the walls we had these panels of paper type “bling” in between the fabric drape.. we had a spot light on each of these to accent it and it looked like diamonds on the wall and it didn’t look cheesy.. very elegant
The centerpieces were our Large Round Silk Centerpiece arrangements with hanging jewels in our giant silver trumpet vases (tips and tricks on how to do this in our flower training video)
The chair covers had apple green satin chair ties with the iridescent camel chair ties.. soft yet a little pop of color.. VERY romantic with all the lighting and candles
I wanted to add a little more pop of color with the candles by wrapping them in a large apple green ribbon and securing with glue dots, then adding a mint julep cup with a little piece of the silk green hydrangea
On each centerpiece we had a small spotlight shining on each.. this is what created the dramatic effect with the arrangements!
This picture you can see a little better how we spot lighted the centerpieces and also added a gobo design to designate the dance floor area
Another of my favorite things about the wedding.. was THE CAKE.. we wanted that castle feel and a castle was what we got.. loved it.. all of it was made from cake!
And finally the catering area was at the end of the room.. but we also need to create a “prep” room.. so free standing backdrops with our bling accent paper curtains did the trick!
The wedding was another success with Event Pro Training!
And there I am after a long couple days.. but very pleased with the outcome !
