Peacock Feather Themed Wedding
This bride came to me and said she didnt care about any of the decor that we could do whatever we wanted.. she just loved peacock feathers. So we went with it.
This was the church before
This was the church after.
We had columns at the back of the aisle with giant peacock feather arrangements
We used the free standing aisle drape design (training video here) accented with the dark turquoise chair ties and white silk hydrangeas.
We tried something new with lighting on this one.. I had several lighting gobos on the ceiling in different shades of blues (which I loved) and then we put their new last name initial on the backdrop.. which is cool for the setup.. but I wish we would have faded it during the ceremony.. it put a strip of blue lighting on her dress.. so I dont recommend putting a gobo on the stage unless its a soft muted design. or fade during the ceremony..
This was tiny reception area.. we could only set up 6 tables and she wanted a dance floor.
So to transform the room.. we covered all the walls to the ceiling with white drape and added aqua and blue accent uplighting.. Each guest table we used black poly linens and chair covers.. turquoise crossties.. lots of candlelight and these HUGE peacock arrangements.. I loved them but they were not the easiest to make.. I had a mixture of peacock feathers and swords.. I used around 500 feathers in each of them and they took me about 1-2 hours each to make.. but they were stunning after we were finished.
Certainly my favorite peacock centerpiece!
