When using Lanterns in a wedding the more you have, the lighting and the placement of them is key.. or it can tend to look 13 year old partyish really quickly and not elegant and fun. So just be aware of those things when using Lanterns in a Wedding
At this wedding we she had about 400-500 guests so we did simple centerpieces and lot of lanterns with lighting instead of draping.. to still have a grand ceiling effect but not the cost of draping.
both of these pictures were shot during the day.. The bottom picture here was of the dance floor.
We used about 100 different sized lanterns just on the dance floor.. about 250 lanterns for the whole room.
This table linen what we call the puffy barrel .. is all one piece and it takes about 60 seconds to do the cake table! Love these linens for cake tables.
My tip when using these.. is to get an additional linen the same fabric and bunch up under the flowers.. so when its time to cut the cake.. any “cake pieces” will dirty the top linen and not the puffy barrel linen.
Little wooden boxes with fresh flowers, purple roses, freesia and alstromeria and kermit mums
this was an alternating small centerpiece with fresh alstromeria with silk green hydrangeas
After it got dark.. we had purple LED spotlights shining across the top of the room and it made all the balls look purple
We did not have individual lights in each ball. This saved time in the setup process also.
